Coinbase launches Visa card for British customers.

Coinbase, the North American cryptocurrency exchange, has launched the Coinbase Visa Card, which allows UK customers to pay in stores using digital resources, according to an announcement posted on the Coinbase blog on April 10, 2019.

The Coinbase card is a Visa debit card with cryptocurrency funds from the Coinbase user accounts.
In this sense, they can use it to make purchases all over the world using their own crypto assets.

Coinbase instantly converts customers’ encrypted currency funds into a fiat currency to finalize the purchase.

Coinbase has also launched the Coinbase Card app for iOS and Android, which links platform accounts to the app and lets them choose a particular wallet to reload their Coinbase card.

The application provides access to receipts, transaction summaries, expense categories and other functions.
The card supports all digital assets for purchase and sale on the Coinbase platform.

The card is issued by Paysafe Financial Services Limited, an approved and regulated company as a monetary institution.
Currently, the Coinbase Visa Card is available only to UK customers.
However, the company plans to add support to other European countries soon.

It is important to note that earlier this month, Visa released a job posting for crypto-currencies and blockchain technology, in addition to having numerous patents related to blockchains over the last two years.

In this regard, the company is seeking a Product Technical Support Manager position at Visa FinTech, its California subsidiary.
The job description indicates that candidates must have in-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency and distributed accounting technology (DLT) industry.

The new Coinbase debit card is very good news for the cryptocurrency sector to make it easier to use cryptocurrencies in real life. Another step to mass adoption for cryptocurrencies.
2019 should see more positive crypto news that will confirm the turnaround of the crypto market and the upcoming arrival of a new bull run besides the bitcoin halving in May 2020!
