Coinbase advises crypto wallet users to update their iphone
Apple has released an update for iOS, iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4, intended for iPhone 6s and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation).
Updates for Apple’s mobile operating systems that aim to address the latest security vulnerabilities detected that could potentially threaten the security of mobile crypto wallets.
Flaws that could allow a malicious actor (hacker) to remotely take control of the operating system of an Apple iPhone smartphone or an iPad.
On Twitter, Pete Kim, head of engineering at Coinbase Wallet, alerts crypto wallet users by inviting them to update their iOS on their iphone to ensure optimized protection of their crypto wallet.
“If you are using a mobile crypto wallet on an iOS device, be sure to update iOS as soon as possible! The update includes a fix for a remote arbitrary code execution vulnerability that may have been actively exploited.”

He says that if there is no evidence that crypto wallet users have been the target of hackers, it is still better to protect yourself as much as possible to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
If you have an iphone and are using a crypto wallet, be it from Coinbase or another provider, then you should update the iOS of your iphone or other Apple mobile device mentioned in this update.
Users of a bitcoin wallet or any other type of crypto wallet have become prime targets for hackers, especially with Bitcoin BTC price rising sharply in recent months.
The optimal solution is of course to use a secure hardware crypto wallet like the Ledger Nano X.
A crypto wallet which allows you to store your bitcoins but also Ethereum, LINK and all the cryptocurrencies present on the market.
