In rich and developed countries, everything is done online to buy, sell or trade Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Ripple XRP, Litecoin, etc.
In Venezuela and in other countries subject to serious economic difficulties, the population cannot always benefit from an internet connection in order to have access to many online services such as Bitcoin trading and therefore simply the purchase or the sale of Bitcoin BTC.
So, there are alternative solutions that show that the internet is not essential for BTC trading or to simply buy Bitcoin, SMS can allow it as is the case in Venezuela precisely.
A service called Criptolago makes it possible to sell or buy Bitcoin BTC by SMS as well as other cryptocurrencies like Litecoin, Dash, which is very well known and used in the country or the Petro crypto established by President Nicolas Maduro.
You just need to register, everything is done by sending a message to a short number by text/SMS and then following the procedure which allows you to send secure messages allowing you to make these Bitcoin purchase or sale transactions by text message/SMS.
Texting to buy or sell Bitcoin, this will reassure many people who were wondering about an alternative solution if the internet was no longer available for some reason.
It is also possible to send Bitcoin by email.

Beyond the fact that buying or selling Bitcoin by SMS could be an alternative solution if the internet was no longer available, it could also be a practical solution that could appeal to a part of the population wishing to use an easy and fast way to buy or sell Bitcoin.
One more solution to facilitate the adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
