Is Adam Back, CEO and co-founder of Blockstream, Satoshi Nakamoto the creator of Bitcoin?
Regularly, new theories appear about the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin BTC.
Between Craig Wright “faketoshi” who swears he is the real Satoshi Nakamoto or John McAfee who claims to know who is the inventor of BTC, several people are suspected of being the creator of Bitcoin like the late Dave Kleiman whose family is on trial with Craig Wright to recover hundreds of millions of dollars in Bitcoin.
Adam Back, CEO and co-founder of Blockstream, is the new person some people think is Satoshi Nakamoto.
A video on Youtube entitled “Bitcoin – Unmasking Satoshi Nakamoto” provides elements that would lead to think that Adam Back is Satoshi.
A video released by Barely Sociable is the third part in a series that examines the facts, arguments and candidates who may be behind the identity of the inventor of Bitcoin.
Among the evidence given in this video highlighting Back’s involvement in the creation of Bitcoin, there is the Bitcoin wite paper which indicates that the creator of Bitcoin was inspired by payment systems like b-money (Wei Dai), eCash (David Chaum) and HashCash, created by Adam Back in 1997.
HashCash uses a consensus algorithm similar to the proof of work that Bitcoin uses today.
Barely Sociable’s investigators also used techniques such as writing style analysis and academic profile, making Adam Back very similar to Satoshi Nakamoto’s profile.
If Adam Back communicated well by email and various messages with the creator of Bitcoin, surprisingly, these messages are not public.
Unlike other Satoshi messages with various developers in the cypherpunk community, when Bitcoin was developed and launched.
The CEO of Blockstream kept the secret messages for supposedly protecting the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto…
He indicated on Twitter not to be Satoshi Nakamoto despite what this video claims:
“Some claim to be Satoshi. It seems to me that I need the opposite: I am not Satoshi despite a recent video/reddit claiming it. Certain factors and delays may seem suspicious with hindsight; coincidence and facts are messy.
Some of their research on Google is true: I moved to Malta, an EU tax haven, in 2009. Pure coincidence, although I did know Bitcoin in 2008 via emails from Satoshi. I was born in London. I use native British double-space spelling. Can code C ++. “
some claim to be Satoshi, days google research blogging stories, and in court, to widespread non-belief.
seems I need the opposite: I am not Satoshi despite recent video / reddit claiming so. some factors & timing may look suspicious in hindsight; coincidence & facts are untidy.

A new theory therefore on who is Satoshi Nakamoto.
The mystery therefore remains intact as long as no one provides concrete evidence proving that he is indeed the true creator of Bitcoin.
