The Polish crypto exchange Coinroom shuts down without refunding its customers!

The Polish crypto exchange Coinroom has recently ceased operations and disappeared without warning their customers’ accounts, – announced Medium.

Coinroom Crypto Exchange is closed now.

Polish news agency Money.Pl claims that they received an email from Coinroom, in which, like other Coinroom users, they were hindered by the closure of Coinroom operations.

Some affected users claimed to have up to 60,000 zlotys or about $15,790 in their account.

The number of warnings Coinroom has given its customers is negligible.

Coinroom customers are reported to have had one day to withdraw their money, as stated in the e-mail Coinroom has sent to users, until the operation is completely discontinued.

Although Coinroom gave its users the opportunity to withdraw their money, some users claim that the crypto exchange gave back only part of their money, while other users claim that they did not receive their money at all.

Coinroom crypto exchange is closed with the client assets.

A spokesman for the prosecutor’s office in Warsaw, Lukasz Lapczyński, said his law office has opened proceedings against Coinroom.

This is due to unauthorized activities related to the provision of payment services that facilitate the exchange of cryptocurrencies.
