There are over 2 million ETH tokens in staking on Ethereum 2.0

Launched in early December 2020, Ethereum ETH 2.0 continues to attract more ETH tokens in staking with this milestone of two million tokens deposited on the ETH 2.0 deposit contract.

The Ethereum blockchain must gradually switch from proof of work to proof of stake mode, which will use ETH token staking in order to validate transactions on the network.

Success therefore for this first phase which required around 500,000 ETH tokens put in staking to start and which now exceeds two million ETH 2.0 tokens in staking.

A staking that allows holders of these tokens to earn passive income by staking Ethereum via the staking of their tokens on ETH 2.0.

As we have seen in various articles, several crypto exchanges such as Binance or Kraken have launched their Ethereum staking platform which allows their users to do ETH staking and get paid for this service.


Ethereum staking which is therefore meeting a certain success and which should attract more and more users in the coming months.

This ETH token staking allows you to earn an interest rate that will be between 5 and 20% depending on the platform.
