However, there is already a cryptocurrency called MarsCoin (MARS) and its price has exploded following statements by the founder of Tesla and SpaceX!
The MarsCoin price jumped 2,500%, hitting the price of $2.50 based on information from CoinMarketCap.
The lucky holders of this MarsCoin were therefore able to sell their tokens with a huge profit if they were able to seize this opportunity which did not last long, the token is only listed on unknown crypto exchanges like Finexbox or Folgory.
It is common to sometimes find cryptocurrencies that have similar names, if Elon Musk would indeed launch a token called MarsCoin, you should expect a lot of confusion among the general public…
Once again, Elon Musk therefore pumped the price of a cryptocurrency, he certainly did not know that there is already a token with this name, the CEO of Tesla could also consider buying this crypto-asset from the creators of MarsCoin.
The future will tell if Elon Musk will indeed launch his own cryptocurrency and if it will be called MarsCoin, he is already well occupied with Tesla and SpaceX, and especially his investment in Bitcoin to the tune of $1.5 billion!
