The number of searches for the word Bitcoin on Google is increasing!
The search for the word “Bitcoin” in the famous Google search engine has almost tripled since the recent increase in the price of cryptos.
The information comes from Google Trends, a Google Labs tool that displays the most popular search terms.
According to Google Trends data, the number of search queries including the word Bitcoin increased from 30 to 100 after the cryptocurrency value exceeded $4,500 on the night of April 2, 2019.
This is the first time that the price of this cryptocurrency has increased since the beginning of the year.
Statistics indicate that the highest number of searches was recorded in Nigeria, the Netherlands, South Africa, Austria and Switzerland.
For its part, the United States has presented more frequent research on Bitcoins in California, Washington, Nevada, New York and Colorado.
Google Trends has relative rather than absolute data.
The classification is made by algorithms in which:
“The numbers represent the interest of the search relative to the highest point of the graph for the given region and time. A value of 100 is the maximum popularity of the term. A value of 50 means that the term is half popular. A score of 0 means there is not enough data for this term.”
On April 3, 2019, Bitcoin reached $5,000 for the first time since November 2018, which undoubtedly attracted the attention of investors.
