Kraken, one of the industry’s most serious crypto exchanges, has announced the addition of the Australian Dollar (AUD) to its platform.
Kraken already offers the Euro, the USD Dollar, the Canadian Dollar, the Swiss Franc, the British Pound and the Japanese Yen.
As of June 17, 2020, Kraken users can therefore exchange cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash and Tether USDT for the AUD Australian Dollar.
The main trading pairs available at first will be XBT/AUD, ETH/AUD, BCH/AUD, XRP/AUD, LTC/AUD, USDT/AUD, AUD/JPY, AUD/EUR, AUD/USD.
Outside the United States, Kraken does allow forex trading as we mentioned in a previous article.
Kraken that is diversifying by turning to traditional forex trading to allow cryptocurrency traders to expand their trading activities and start trading in a $6 trillion FX market!
This announcement follows the latest acquisition of Kraken, the Australian crypto exchange Bit Trade.
Australia is a market with a lot of potential as Binance or Kraken has already pointed out with this acquisition and the launch of the Australian dollar on its platform.
