Luxembourg, 24 September 2019.
The BitFlyer cryptocurrency trading platform today announced the addition of new altcoins on the Buy / Sell platform, available across Europe and the United States.
Starting today, European users of bBitFlyer Buy / Sell will be able to buy and sell Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), Lisk (LSK) and Monacoin (MONA), in all security and directly on the regulated platform, while users of bitFlyer USA will have access to Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Litecoin (LTC).
Andy Bryant, co-leader and COO at bitFlyer Europe said, “By adding new altcoins, we are expanding the Buy / Sell offer of bitFlyer significantly, giving our customers instant access to the most important altcoins. and the most interesting.
These currencies were previously only available to our Japanese customers; We are consolidating our offering across all regions, building a global platform for traders around the world.
By leveraging our experience in Japan, we can offer our European and US customers the same level of speed, simplicity and transparency we already offer to those who trade Bitcoins (BTC) and Ethers (ETH) ”
The new altcoins offer BitFlyer customers an alternative to Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), an option already available on the Buy / Sell platform. Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are ranked in the top 20 crypto-currencies in terms of capitalization, while Lisk (LSK) and Monacoin (MONA) have lower capitalization and are therefore not not yet widely available in Europe.
The addition of new currencies to the Buy / Sell platform is contributing to bitFlyer’s mission to generalize the adoption of crypto-currencies.
bitFlyer was launched in the United States in November 2017, followed by bitFlyer Europe in January 2018, as wholly-owned subsidiaries of bitFlyer, Inc., a well-known name in the cryptocurrency industry in Japan, and one of the oldest cryptocurrency trading platforms.
It is the only crypto-currency exchange platform regulated in Japan, Europe and the United States. It has been recognized as one of the 10 trading platforms that does not distort its trading volume data.
bitFlyer advocates for the future of the cryptocurrency sector and aims to support their future by setting standards and standards for cryptocurrency trading.
The company believes that standards and regulations are essential for the future of the sector, and is a regular participant in discussions at the highest level, for example, at the G20. bitFlyer also contributed to the amendment of the Banking Regulation Law in Japan, which recognized Bitcoin as the official currency.
