There are over 2 million ETH tokens in staking on Ethereum 2.0

Launched in early December 2020, Ethereum ETH 2.0 continues to attract more ETH tokens in staking with this milestone of two million tokens deposited on the ETH 2.0 deposit contract.

The Ethereum blockchain must gradually switch from proof of work to proof of stake mode, which will use ETH token staking in order to validate transactions on the network.
