Binance Trust Wallet now supports XRP and accepts payments with credit card!

Trust Wallet, the official crypto wallet of Binance, now allows its users to buy crypto-currencies using their credit card.

This new payment option is available thanks to its alliance with the Israeli payment processor Simplex, according to an announcement published by Binance Tuesday morning.

Binance had already added the payment by credit card on Binance itself a short time ago, see our article: Click here.

At the same time, according to the crypto exchange, Trust Wallet will add support for Ripple (XRP), the third largest cryptocurrency in the world in terms of total market capitalization.

In this sense, Trust Wallet users can purchase XRP, Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC) and Ether (EHT) tokens with their Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards.
However, advertising does not specify which cards they support or other interesting details, such as commissions.

In this regard, Viktor Radchenko, founder of Trust Wallet, said:

“We want to expand access to crypto-currencies and decentralized applications for all users.
Adding credit card payments is key to increasing the adoption of cryptocurrency and building on our vision of helping people achieve financial freedom.
We will continue to integrate more blockchains and trust options.”

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of adjusted trading volume, acquired Trust Wallet in July 2018.
This wallet was only compatible with Ethereum and Ethereum-based tokens at that time.

Since then, the crypto exchange has added support for many crypto-currencies and currently supports 17 tokens and hundreds of decentralized applications (dApps), according to Tuesday’s announcement.

Binance also added that Trust Wallet would be the native wallet of its decentralized Binance DEX exchange, which should be operational early in the second quarter of 2019.

Trust Wallet recently added Zcoin, one of the most important privacy coins of the market.
Zcoin, which was added to the Mastercard cards of Polispay.

Accepting credit card payments should simplify access to cryptocurrency and Bitcoin for many people who would like to buy through a crypto wallet like Trust Wallet or a crypto exchange like Binance.

The democratization of the crypto market requires easy access to cryptocurrencies for the general public.
Hence the recent Facebook maneuvers about the coming Facebook Coin.
