The British police will auction about 600,000 $ in seized Bitcoin, ETH and XRP!
Te news comes from the Wilsons Auction website, a company organizing auctions for the British police which announced the good deal to come on September 25, 2019.
Wilsons Auctions will administer the first instruction from the British police for the sale of seized Bitcoins from criminals or hackers.
The total amount of Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies seized would be approximately 500,000 Pounds Sterling or about 600,000 Dollars.
There will be two auctions aimed at a wide audience with lots ranging from 0.25 to 2 Bitcoins while the other crypto-currencies will contain a larger number of coins.
The Crypto-Currency Online Auction will take place on Wednesday, 25 September from 12.00 GMT and start on Thursday, 26 September at 12.00 GMT.
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple XRP are on the menu of this auction.
Wilsons Auctions is a private auction company specializing in the sale of Bitcoins and Cryptocurrencies seized by authorities in various countries.
Wilsons Auctions had already made a successful auction with the sale in the past of 315 seized Bitcoins, sold to buyers from more than 90 countries around the world.
The auction was the result of a major contract with the Belgian federal government, under which Wilsons Auctions manages the storage and sale of crypto seized assets.
