Spark airdrop to distribute 45.8 billion FLR tokens to eligible Ripple XRP token holders

Where as the Ripple company is sued by the SEC and the XRP price drops, this is little consolation for the XRP token holders who are set to receive 45.8 billion Spark tokens.

On December 12, the snapshot of XRP token balances took place for those who wanted to participate in the Spark token airdrop.
You had to have your XRP tokens on a crypto exchange that participated in the airdrop like Binance and Kraken, or you had to have your XRP tokens on a crypto wallet like the Ledger Nano X.

Following this snapshot taken by the company Flare Networks which is organizing this Spark token airdrop, the company has published the number of free FLR tokens that will be distributed to eligible XRP token holders.

45,827,728,412 Spark Tokens (FLR) will be distributed to XRP holders who participated in the airdrop, said Hugo Philion, CEO of Flare Networks.

If you have participated in the Spark token airdrop, then you will receive your free FLR tokens at the start of 2021, with the XRP/FLR ratio 1:1.
For 1000 XRP tokens, you will receive 1000 FLR tokens.

When the Spark mainnet is activated, the company will therefore distribute the FLR tokens to participating crypto exchanges who will send them to users who had XRP tokens in their account.

The same will apply to participating crypto wallets.

Holders of XRP tokens can therefore console themselves with these free tokens, the Ripple community which hopes that the lawsuit brought by the SEC will not cause significant problems that could jeopardize the future of the XRP token.
