Samsung Blockchain Wallet integrates Gemini Bitcoin exchange
Nice move by the Winklevoss brothers who see their crypto exchange integrated into the Samsung Blockchain Wallet.
In an official announcement on their site, Tyler Winklevoss, CEO of Gemini says:
“We are delighted to announce that Gemini is partnering with Samsung Blockchain to power the Samsung Blockchain Wallet. This integration will allow Samsung Blockchain Wallet users to connect to the Gemini mobile app to buy, sell and trade crypto.”
This is the first time that Samsung has integrated a Bitcoin exchange into its crypto wallet, which will therefore be present in each Samsung smartphone.
The Bitcoin Gemini exchange which scores points against its direct competitor in the United States, Coinbase.
It is not known if Coinbase was in competition to be integrated into the Samsung Blockchain Wallet, but it is Gemini who will be present as confirmed by this announcement.
Things are moving in the crypto and blockchain sector, the fact that Samsung decides to add the Gemini crypto exchange indicates a growing adoption of BTC and altcoins.
If manufacturers integrate cryptocurrency exchanges into their smartphones, this will be an essential accelerating element that will bring Bitcoin and crypto-assets within reach of millions of people!
This integration of course only concerns users of Samsung Blockchain Wallet in the United States and Canada.
We can therefore expect Samsung to integrate crypto exchanges on its smartphones by geographic region for Europe, Asia, etc.
A Bitcoin price around 9500 dollars.
