Huobi Global will disable US user accounts on November 13, 2019.
Like Binance had to do in the past, Huobi Global no longer accepts US customers who need to open an account on Huobi US that opened in early 2019.
Under pressure from US authorities, the crypto exchange Huobi had to open a crypto exchange in the United States in order to welcome American customers.
Huobi Global reminds that all accounts of US customers still active on this platform will be disabled on November 13, 2019 as announced on their website.
“Huobi Global serves millions of users in more than 130 countries around the world and strictly adheres to laws and regulations in various countries and regions.
In accordance with US laws and regulations regarding crypto assets, our User Agreement expressly prohibits US users from using our platform.”
“Please return your borrowed funds to margin trading and withdraw all the balance of your assets.”
Huobi Global who hopes that its American users will use its crypto exchange in the United States.
It is certain that the American regulations have lost customers either for Binance or Huobi.
If these customers are determined to use a crypto exchange in the United States, there is stiff competition between Coinbase, Binance, Huobi US, Gemini, Bitstamp, etc.
