Elon Musk denies rumors of collaboration with Ethereum

The famous Tesla and SpaceX CEO has denied rumors of a collaboration with the Ethereum blockchain.

Known to sometimes post ambiguous or enigmatic messages about cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or talking about his favorite cryptocurrency Dogecoin, Elon Musk has therefore put an end to rumors concerning his future involvement in a project on Ethereum.

It all started with a message from Canadian actor William Shatner, known for his role in the legendary series Star Trek.
The actor who played the role of Captain Kirk has been a supporter of cryptocurrency for some time, he even launched his own non-fungible token (NFT).

In this message, William Shatner said:

“Cryptonians! My friends @VitalikButerin @ElonMusk  were trying to decide what to build on  @Ethereum. I’ve been waiting & waiting. I finally decided to do something myself. Join me!  Bill”

A message that implied that the CEO of Tesla was preparing something related to Ethereum.

More than a year later, as enigmatic as it can be, Elon Musk therefore replied to this message in order to clarify things and deny any rumor of a project or collaboration with the Ethereum blockchain.

“I’m not building anything on ethereum. Not for or against it, just don’t use it or own any.”

This is therefore something clarified by Elon himself and which should put an end to all the rumors that have been going on for a long time, about a possible Ethereum project with the CEO of Tesla or a collaboration with Vitalik Buterin.

It certainly shattered the hopes for some members of the crypto and Ethereum community who hoped to see a blockchain project with this genius entrepreneur.

William Shatner of course later responded to Tesla CEO by saying:

“I still love you even if you haven’t found blockchain technology fascinating.”

Elon Musk, who may one day be more interested in blockchain technology, he is clearly already busy with Tesla and SpaceX to go to Mars.
